Connect Accounts
You can connect multiple accounts via LYNX to manage them using a single set of login credentials. After linking, you’ll also be able to transfer assets and funds between the connected accounts, subject to applicable eligibility and verification checks.
Login
- Open your browser and visit the Client Portal website
- Enter your username and your password
- Authenticate yourself via two-factor authentication
Select Manage Account Linking
In the menu at the top right corner, select Welcome and then Settings.
In the Account Configuration section, select Manage Account Linking.
Then follow these steps to link your accounts:
- Select the account you wish to link and verify your identity. You’ll need to enter your authentication credentials, followed by two-factor authentication.
- On the next page, review your financial profile and trading experience. Confirm that the displayed information is correct.
- Configure your market data subscriptions by selecting your desired options. Click Continue to proceed.
Your request to link accounts under a single username will be submitted.
Please note: Only accounts with matching legal ownership and registration details can be linked.
FAQ
What are the requirements to link accounts with each other?
To link your accounts, the following conditions must be met:
- You must have a Secure Login System (SLS) security device.
- The email addresses, account titles, tax IDs, legal IDs, and registered physical addresses must be the same for all accounts you want to link.
- All accounts registered to you must be linked; partial linking is not supported.
- After linking, only the main account’s username and password will remain active. Login credentials of the linked accounts will be deactivated.
- The highest-level security device among your accounts will become the active device.
Note: Linking requests are processed on Fridays. Please ensure your details are up-to-date before initiating a request.
Which advantages would I obtain by linking my accounts?
When your accounts are linked, you can:
- Use one set of login credentials across all linked accounts
- Switch between accounts on trading platforms such as TWS and the Trading App
- Transfer cash and positions between linked accounts, subject to verification and eligibility
- Monitor consolidated performance and activity through the Performance & Reports section
Do I need to keep the login credential of my consolidated account?
No. After linking, only one login credential (the primary account’s) will remain active. The login credentials for the other accounts will be permanently deactivated.
