Change Phone Number
If you want to change your phone number, it is important to update it in the Personal Information section of your Client Portal. To make this change, follow the steps below.
You will be asked to activate and use the LYNX Key to ensure secure access going forward. Please follow the instructions on this page to activate the LYNX Key.
Login
- Open your browser and visit the Client Portal website
- Enter your username and your password
- Authenticate yourself via two-factor authentication
Select Mobile Number
In the menu at the top right corner, select Welcome and then Settings.
In the Communication section, select Mobile Number.
On the next screen, you’ll see your mobile number. To edit it, click the pencil icon next to your mobile number.
Enter country and phone number
Select the country where your new number is registered and enter it using the full international format (with country code) and click on Continue.
You will receive a confirmation code on your new phone number. Enter this code in the next screen. Confirm the number to continue the update.
Make sure you have access to your new number before starting this process. This number may be used for two-factor authentication.
Confirm the new phone number
You will now see your newly entered phone number displayed as confirmed. Click Continue to finalize the change and save the new number to your profile.

I have a new phone, how do I migrate my LYNX Key?
If you have a new smartphone and you want to transfer LYNX Key, follow these steps:
- Install the LYNX Trading App (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) on your new smartphone.
- Open the LYNX Trading App and tap on I Have an Account.
- Click Register Two-Factor and tap on Continue.
- Enter your username and password, confirm that by tapping on Continue.
- You will receive an SMS with an activation code. Enter this code in the app and tap on Activate.
LYNX Key has now been activated on your new device.
Note: If you are unable to activate LYNX Key on your new phone using the instructions above, please contact our customer service team. Our colleagues will identify you and assist you in reactivating LYNX Key.
Will changing my phone number affect my account’s security?
Changing your phone number does not affect your account security, provided you update your two-factor authentication (2FA) method.
If your old mobile number was linked to SMS-based 2FA, it will no longer work after the change. To ensure continued secure access, you must activate the LYNX Key.

What should I do if I no longer have access to my old phone number for verification?
If your old phone number was used for two-factor authentication and you can no longer access it, please contact your local service team.
After verifying your identity, we will provide you with a temporary access token to help you log in.
You will then be required to activate the LYNX Key as your new method for two-factor authentication.
I didn’t receive a text for my two-factor authentication?
In some cases, SMS codes may not be delivered due to network delays, provider restrictions, or incorrect phone number settings.
To avoid these issues and ensure reliable, secure access, we strongly recommend using the LYNX Key as your two-factor authentication method.
